After we hear about the occupation of the British in Galle and how they tweaked the architecture of the fort to bear colonial aspects and finally get an understanding on how the architecture evolved to what it is at present. During our walk we will also learn about the people that have been living in the Galle Fort for centuries and what their life has evolved into through the years. You will have the occasional local exchanging a warm smile or a small conversation as you walk along this timeless Fortress.
